Christian Block, CPA

Christian Block, a tax manager at Nelson CPA, provides tax compliance and planning services to multistate S corporations and C corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and active real estate investors. Prior to joining Nelson CPA, he worked at Clark Nuber PS. He holds a Master in Professional Accountancy from Montana State University.

Elizabeth C. Nelson, CPA

Elizabeth C. Nelson, a practicing CPA in Seattle, provides tax accounting services to numerous entrepreneurs and investors with an international footprint. She holds a BS in accounting Western Governors University.

She is the co-author of two other tax monographs: Preparing Form 3115 for the Tangential Property Regulations and Small Businesses and the Affordable Care Act, which thousands of CPAs purchased and read to quickly learn complex new tax statutes and regulations.

Stephen L. Nelson, CPA

Stephen L. Nelson specializes in serving Subchapter S corporations and their owners. He has an MBA in finance from the University of Washington and an MS in tax from Golden Gate University. A former adjunct professor at Golden Gate University’s graduate tax school, he is also the author of the bestselling books QuickBooks for Dummies and Quicken for Dummies. and the tax monograph Maximizing Section 199A Deductions.

Steve’s received a lot of attention for his work over the years. For example, he’s been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal twice, most recently for this article about target retirement funds (subscription required). Fortune Small Business has consulted Steve as an expert on tax issues related to LLCs, Imke Ratchko’s New York small business law blog has favorably reviewed his DIY Incorporation Kits, and J.D. Meier solicited a guest post from Steve for his high-profile Sources of Insight blog, titled “The Five Small Business Success Formulas.”
